Pressure Control Solenoid Replacement procedure?
maybe sown before, haven't seen in a search yet. but, on a 2000 SLE...what is the procedure for replacing this solenoid? Any special tools? About where is it located? Recommend a fluid/filter change while doing this work? Do you have to drain the fluid to replace it?
Any info appreciated

The trans has to be removed or at least dropped signifigantly to get the side cover off. After you get the trans out and the side cover off, you simply replace the pressure control solenoid. Its not any easy fix by all means.

oh hell......so can't get to with tranny in the car then...that sucks.
guess i will just deal with hassle of warranty work then and let them do it. part was cheap enough i would just do myself to not have to deal with warranty...but if dropping it is required....then its theres to deal with.
thanks!
