Default Passenger side doors dead

Ok, after my newbie post a couple of weeks ago, I've finally been able to dig into my car a bit. Both passenger side doors are totally dead - no lights on the lock switches, no power door locks, no power windows. No response from either the individual door actuators, the drivers pod, or the remote. I just received and installed a new drivers door control with no change.

I had the passenger front door off and checked a few things there. I didn't see any evidence of water leaks on that side and the door did indeed have power on several different wires of several different connectors. So moving on from there...

Drivers side quite different... lots of water, especially in the rear pan. The ground bus that I've read about seems to be higher up the door jamb not at floor level and doesn't appear to have any contamination at all. I've also removed the cover of the wire tray and have found what I believe is the communication hub and it also appears very clean. I've opened it and reseated the jumper but no change. I've taken a few pictures but don't know how to post them here.

I've also made sure the battery connections are clean and tight.

Any ideas or tips?

Do you have a sunroof?I had a leak from front sunroof drain and it travelled along a channel and puddled in rear. However possibly sounds like may coming thru door seals as your door functions are not working.

Yes, I do indeed have a sunroof. I haven't focused on what'* leaking yet. I'll have the wife hose down the car from the doors up to the roof to see when the water appears.

Pour water on your doors while open watch for leak and closed watch for leak, Pour water in your sun roof with sunroof open along the sides at all 4 drains in corners and watch for leaks.I would assume 1 of these is the problem if not at least it is illiminated.Let us know.

We need someone with the FSM'* handy to tell us what all these symptoms have in common.

Water leaks are one problem, lack of electrical functions in the doors is another.

Let me know exactly where you have power in the passenger door.

Exactly right willwren... the water leak - the probable root cause of this problem - is secondary. I'd first like to get the car functioning correctly again. After all, it doesn't rain every day!

Markwb - I'll have to pull off the panel again to fill you in on what wires had power. Give me a day or so...

I assume that the little wiring hub under the driver'* seat is the communication hub. I'm wondering if I could just eliminate that particular connector and just solder them all together and coat with liquid electrical tape. Does the dealer have a special connector they can splice in there and get some sort of data?

Thanks everyone for the input so far.

Here'* what I've seen so far...

With the Keyswitch in the correct position for the power windows to work - starting from the bottom connector...Orange is only wire with power.

Second connector up... light blue, dark blue, orange, green, brown, tan/white all have power. When operating the power window switch on the passenger door the green wire goes to 0V when operated up or down. The brown wire goes to 0V when switch is operated down only.

Third connector up... green is only one with power.

Fourth connector is I assume for the power mirror and shows no power on any wire.

I should also mention that all measurements were taken from a chasis ground and not the connector ground.
