You can probably get either at your local Circuit City or Best Buy. They stock most of them.

you just need the standard cable. Nothing special. You will loose your "ding ding ding" but you can do this. You will also need to run a new power line, but can be done right from the ignition located next to the radio.
Cable that you will need should look like this:
Don't give up. A lot of installers will tell you that it can't be done only becuase their books so that it can't be done.
Maybe call this place: http://www.audiowarehouse.peachhost....eharnesses.htm

This may be of some help. Call Metra at 1-800-221-0932. EXT. 702 they can help ya out. I used the harness number GMRC-04. Whether they all take the same harness or not I don't know But this harness will work for the 02 people anyway. The only place I found that carry them at a reasonable price is Lafayette radio in Florida. They can be reached at !-800-721-2005. The prices are very reasonable $70- $80.00 and the shipping is cheap way less than $10. They are very good people to do business with.
Hope this helps,
Tim

ARGH!!
I live in GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA (population 90,000) and I was able to find a local installer who knew what parts were needed, could get them, and installed an aftermarket HU in my 2002 Pontiac Bonneville SE with no Bose system.
The only thing you loose is the damn door chime. Now that I know what was involved I WOULD DO IT MYSELF IF I HAD TO DO IT AGAIN. Don't get all flustered, call a local car stereo shop, not an appliance chain. Or here, call the place I went to. Talk to Omar. Tell him Mike Remer told you to call (tell him I have the 02 Silver Pontiac Bonneville with the 12" Memphis sub and HiFonics AMP with the flip down Pioneer Premier HU) (352) 374-7700. Ask him what part he used and if HE would get it for you.
Grand Am vs. Bonneville?!?!

hey silverbonnie, did you not get the pm I sent you?? The place in Florida (Lafayette Radio) can get it and have it sittin' on yo' dostep in just a couple daze. You wont have to run new power wire either. I was told that also.
Anywho just give them a call they take excellent care of their customers.
Peace,
Tim
