Oil Leak

None of us know the location of the leak.... but if it is drain plug related some third parties make a replacement drain plug the fixes the original thread with a replacement and adds a new inner drain plug. This facilitates never having to use the original threads from the pan and supposedly allows for quicker oil draining (not flow but opening and closing of drain). Simply put- if the drain plug/ thread is the issue a third party quick drain plug may be an inexpensive fix. It may allow you to secure a device into original threads (with some teflon type help) and still allow for oil changing without stressing the pan threads.

Turned out my leak was coming from oil pressure sending unit. Had a new one installed for $80 and no more leaks. My car hit the 150,000 mark but runs very well probably because Billboost did an incredible upper and lower valve job on it. I have a friend who wants to sell me a Ford Explorer with 108,000 miles for $4,000 and am considering it as a backup and can also use the extra room in the back.

Would have been wonderful meeting you in Philly .. only an hour away from Brick. Fortunately, I found the culprit was the oil pressure sending unit and had it replaced. Could have been worse so am very grateful.
