I have been running the Michelin Energy in a 235/55/17 for the last two years. I was pleased in the begining as they were much better than the Eagles that came on it. I never thought the Energys had great wet or snow traction, and they wore out fast. The grip was gone from the tires by 25,000. So now i need new tires and I have come down to a few choices:
Conti Premuim Contact
Micheline Pilot Sport AS
Perrili PZero Nero M&*
I want great ride at high speeds, great wet traction, good snow traction, such is the weather in upstae NY.
Tell me what you think of the tires I am looking at AND what are you running or would you reccommend.
Hurry with advice, I need new tires like yesterday!!

You may also want to check out the size 255/50/17 for some more available options. I know BFG makes the Traction TA in those sizes as well as a good tire from Yokohoma.

I like the sport AS looks, but I have heard you get good grip for the first 20,000, then it drops off. Thats about what happened with my Michelin energys.
