After the dyno are you changing out the push rods and springs?
or are you waiting for the cam

Hope the weather clears so you get in the seat
It was hard to accertain a differant exhaust note due to all the rain but Scott mentioned i might hear some change in it. All I hear when i tromp on it is the whine. My exhaust is very quiet. As for the rods I will probably change them whenever the 1.60:1 adjustable rockers are ready. That way I can have the rockers and the X1 cam, and then of course a new tranny .

We actually discussed this...thoughts ranged from some sort of polycarbonate, to bulletproof glass, to the clear aluminum Scotty from Star Trek created.

They'd get oily quick, doubt these work on a series 1 at all right? Maybe they could be tried out, or slighlty modded?

Damn...look at those rusty exhaust manifolds. I think its time someone get headers. I'm glad you got some good gains out of them, it really proves the potential of these engines with the stock cam. Personally, I wouldn't have paid $200 to get them installed, but I understand that you wanted to make sure it was done right, and I don't blame you, its just that it is a fairly simple and straightforward job, especially just doing the rockers and not springs or anything, that IMO it isn't worth $200. I'm glad your happy though. It sounds like that SSEi is gonna be pretty mean real soon! I think PontiacDad is gonna have some competition...

Very cool and WAY GELOUS!!! So sounded like you said Scott personally installed these? The way you described the gains is what I'm looking for, I want some more on the highend. The lowend can't hook up as it is.

Definitly looking forward to your dyno day. You lucky dog.

Question, what is the advantage of having adjustable rockers? I understand with a Cam such as 1x or VS that you want stock lift of 1.6 right?, so what'* to adjust? Maybe get 1.65 or something?

So you said Oil restricted with stock lifters, and lightweight ones with better lifters, I take it the lightweight setup is the more recomend path if you want to do it all? I've been reading some rocker problems on club GP with people who only but rockers in and nothing else, bending lifters and stuff.

And finally, I'm gelous!!!! One more thing, when you getting a custom DHP, probably with the cam ehh? Just curious, why did you get these rockers when you have plans on getting a cam soon?

Hey, what'* the boost gauge reading now? Pegged at +10psi I'm betting.
