Needz some serious help...

If it'* plugs or wires, it won't throw a code. At least mind didn't. I am suspecting it'* probably plugs or wires. Does it do it especially under load? ie. going up a hill, shifting gears? My problems usually occured going in/out of OD and on hills in any gear. Usually the time set for new plugs/wires is 7 years or 140kms or so i think. Ok well don't quote me on the kms, but the year i am positive on. However a faulty plug or wire would cause issues much earlier.
My 95 was at 170kms when it needed new wires.
the 2k is at 165 (GULP) and is still good....*knock on wood*

Always cold, never hot? That'* pointing to the trans. Mine shifts alot harder into each gear until it warms up, but then again, at 65K miles, you're due for plug wires. Stockers are about used up at 50k.

Mine'* just started doing something similar. I haven't checked the plugs or wires yet. I'm just checking to see if my issues make you think it'* something else.
It'* only been happening for a couple of days, so maybe there'* more....not sure.
Since then, I've noticed the following:
- Idling is just fine, so far (cold or hot).
- When holding the brakes down, immediately after shifting from Reverse to Park, it'll do a single 'stutter' every 3 - 5 seconds. This stutter is just a single push or pull. I can feel it through the brake more so than in the seat. I didn't watch the Tach, so it may be engine, or it may be Transmission. It didn't sound like the engine was revving higher during the stutter...I just felt the stutter. I'll watch the Tach and listen for revs after work.
- This also happens when shifting from Park to Drive or Reverse to Drive, etc. (Possibly happens after any shift.)
- Accelerating up a hill brought on single stutters at 1 - 3 second intervals. Almost felt like it was about to stall.
- While at speed (45+ MPH) as well as Decelerating, it all seemed to go away.
- At the beginning of a semi-aggressive acceleration from a stop light (on dry pavement), my 5 month old Winter Tires broke loose and squeaked very briefly (which they've never done on dry pavement due to Traction Control).
- Normal acceleration from a stop or while in motion (below 45MPH) triggered a stutter or two, as well.
I have not tried WOT. I also have not driven it long enough for the engine to really warm up, so I'm not sure if it'* just a cold thing or if it happens cold and hot. I'll ScanTool it tonight after work for codes. Is there any particular thing I should monitor on the ScanTool to see what causes the stutter? RPM'*, O2 sensor, Ignition Timing, etc? (I'm a ScanTool newbie, so I don't even know what most of the sensors monitor, nor how to read them. I'm using AutoEnginuity)
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks for any information!

UPDATE: After work, the car performed a little more poorly. It stuttered off and on throughout my entire ride home. However, I drove it around once more (after a few hours) and didn't feel a single stutter.
So, I went to get my ScanTool (AutoEnginuity) and hooked it up. At various times throughout the scan, I got the following codes:
Also, the SES light has not come on at all yet.
Any suggestions based off of this? Replace the plug and wire on #5? Get it serviced?
Thanks for any info!

Hmm....I'm a bit new to engine work. What are the coils? is that something the wire connects to (the end opposite of the plug)?
Is that an easy DIY job? I'm not looking to get into anything too involved....as new as I am.
Thanks.

If you can hook up a get the scan tool to run you can do this.
The ignition coils are mounted to the IAC and boost the voltage going to the spark plugs. The spark plug wires carry this voltage from the coil to the spark plug.
With your milage I would change the all the plugs and wires (less than $100), but first confirm that the coils are good by swaping the #5 with the one beside it. 2 screws on each coil holding it to the IAC.

just an aside guys:
I was getting misfires in Cyliner 3 and 4. I called the pontiac dealer to find out how much to change the plugs and wires (I don't know how easy it is to get to those rear three plugs) he quoted me the price, but said it most likely only needed a fuel injector cleaning. Took it to Pepboys, $60 later no codes, no pending codes, everything is fine.
Its an inexpensive procedure and should be done at 60K miles anyway; btw mine was at 40-50K...
