oh also when we hooked a tuner to the car it wouldnt communicate with the pcm... but when bench tuned on a modded wireharness that just has data wires n 12v sourcem it wcommunicated and he flashed an oem l67 bin with my oem trans bin file so its my pcm and my vin going back in just to be 100% sure.

also someone told me that it wont crank on a l36 program wile using a l67 map sensor idk.... sounded like bs lol

i dont know your car specifically but normally the big wires go to the engine head or alt bracket. and being that the battery is in the back i imagine its connected to the chassis there and needs to have a good clean return path from the engine block to chassis for the starter to work

I started and ran my 97 Bonneville L67 with a L36 PCM. Then I turned around and used a 96 Park Ave Ultra PCM to run it. Ran really rich on the L36 PCM.

the car has reduncy built in, i think you could unplug everything everything but the crank position sensor and still would start and run poor. well except the security the fools put into it

the pnp sensor sends that info to the pcm and pcm sends that via serial data to cluster, so if you dont have the pcm issues figured out or its not plugged in you arent going to get that

yep it sounds like the dang security issue. had that trouble with mine but had the programmer remove the VATS and never had a issue again.
