Question My cat rattle

Good Morning all,

My catalytic convert is rattling and its driving me nuts.
I have been looking around online and had problem finding one for my car.
I would like one with the front bolt on flange to the downpipe. I also want one thats O.E. size and has NO issues with emissions (i.e. p0420).

Product Search Results - MagnaFlow Catalytic Converters by Car Sound
I found this one on E-bay and other places. Any thoughts?
Does anyone have another place where I can get one?
Ordering O.E. cat with the whole exhaust in feasable at this point.
Thanks for the help

Are you certain the rattle is coming from inside the cat as opposed to the heat shield?

The heat shields are gone. I haven't been under there in like a month but this I am sure of.
It'* either the cat or the resonator I am guessing cat. I am just trying to line up my ducks lined up at this point. I haven't even called an exhaust shop to check what they can do.

Do a search for "cat" and there are threads like this one:

Beyond that, let'* see what the tech guys recommend when they read your thread.

I agree to wait and see what the techs say, and you will want to go and MAKE SURE its the CAT before buying a new one and replacing it to have the same rattle.

In the link there is a type of High Flow CAT... Goerlich 608227 3" in/out ...Ive seen several that have this and not one complaint as of yet... its so fat the only one that on several installs has NOT turned on the SES light. I know you would want to prolly save money but you will end up spending more to have the post-cat 02 sensor turned off *requires tuning* so that your light is not on vs just spending the extra to get a CAT that will flow right, perform well, and still serve its original purpose.

IMO, you should get it, but make sure your problem is the CAT, and see if any tech give any other advice before jumping in

Good Luck
