Bill, it would be cool to get fabbed because I'm gonna get another ordered when the do the plugs and wire harness, But if the first one didnt even make it off the lot...... It must catch as the glass comes forward and snap the piece. By the pics you posted Haro yours got all fubared and stuck in there at some point in time.

The business end of the 92-99 is metal. The leading edge exposed to the wind is plastic, but all the important parts (pivots and brackets) are metal.

Paid for by the American Plastics Council

I went lookin for a replacment or an aftermarket wind deflector and found these. Still plastic, but don't require drilling or anything, so maybe just tear out the OE one and toss on one fo these. Just a suggestion.

We're talking about FIXING the problem, not sticking an ugly bubble on the car that traps dirt and moisture to band-aid a design issue. That (in my opinion) is not a viable option in repairing the problem mentioned here.

Thanks for the info, i didnt know that. Its not like i can go to the garage and check anymore :( .

Anyways, i really like the deflector on the G6'*. Yes, its dorky looking with the mesh but it really works well. I rented one in december and it was in the 30'*. I had the roof open all the way and driving on the highway and it was so quiet you could hardly tell it was open and no draft at all.
