Help with electrical/dash work and motor on '02
Hey guys, I've got a rather basic issue that I'm a little too stupid to solve on my own. I'm trying to instal red LED lightbars in the driver and passenger footwells of my bonnie, and I have them stuck up using adhesive a ways back currently. The wiring is crude, though. I wired the light to plugs which plug into a cigarette outlet splitter, so I basically have ugly wires dangling in irritating places, especially because the socket splitter has missile toggle switches on another cable! I want to take my front area apart to get at the wiring and hard wire the light bars in, but I don't know how to get at the wiring and I don't know what wires I should splice into. Anyone know?
Also, I heard a rumor that there is another car (possibly a buick?) that has the same 3800 series II v6 motor that '02 bonnies have, but with the addition of a supercharger attatched to the tube that is easily accessed in the well to the lower left of the motor. I was wondering if this was true, what car it was, how many horses it might add (I've heard rumors ranging from 30 to 100), and if it might be possible for me to go to a junkyard, get said part, and install it in my motor, without blowing anything up from the potential pressure differentials (the mpg rating isn't incredibly important to me, I just want to make my baby have a little more umph ). I also believe that their may be some fancier bonnevilles that come with this already installed, but I'm not sure.
I'm sorry that I am so ignorant of my bonnie'* inner workings, I bought her used and fell in love, and I was raised by a musician, so my technical skills are pretty much self-taught. Thank you for you help.
