I've got Bonne guts spread neatly about my garage at this point. There'* no turning back now.
I already installed the O2 spoof and I will have to drive with open header to the exhaust shop to have the CAT cut off and pipe welded up when I'm done.
No hurry here either. I'm really enjoying it so far.

Will have to wait a couple of weeks for the headers to arrive.

Still no answer from you guys on whether I should stick with one heat range cooler on the plugs or should I go to 2 ranges colder.
The trick, I discovered with removing the plug wires is to pry them off with a big screwdriver from the end instead of pulling them. There is a damn spring on the end that locks them in place. :? Much easier to do when the exhaust manifold is off.

Bullet, try one heatrange colder for starters. The headers will have you breathing better, and may help your plugs dissipate the heat. If it'* a problem, you'll know in 2-3 months. Then go 2 if you need to. Winter temps will help as well.

Will - My stock plugs are NGK PTR4B-15.
You are using NGK TR6 V-power plugs. Are they one range cooler?

Next I will disconnect the exhaust at the CAT and remove the rear manifold.

The TOG header install instructions are tailored to the GP. It says that to remove and install the rear manifold, one has to remove the upper engine dog bone mounts to allow the engine to be tilted forward. I guess I will have to remove the Bonne'* front lower mount in order to do the same.
Has anyone done this......how about some helpful hints guys before I start.

I have read through the intructions a few times for the gp and know what you mean by the dog bones. I'm not sure if this can be done with our cars, I was hoping to get at the rear manifold from underneeth the car. Would be easier on a lift too.

The rear manifold will go in from under the car. Make sure the down pipe and converter are out of the way. And it is a tight fit from under the car. Sometimes a little force is needed to get it up in there. When you get the header and cross over pipe all togeather loosely check for clearence between the EGR flange and cross pipe. I had to slightly dimple the cross over pipe with a small wack with a ballpeen hammer. About an 1/8 inch.

Our engines do not rock forward. The dogbones for it are not there....
