Fan Blower is making a terrible noise...
Well i was sitting in my car yesterday when it was about 95 degrees and all of a sudden i heard this terrible noise coming from my blower. It still blows Air but it comes with allot of noise. It sounds like a dremmel tool and as you put the fan higher, the RPM'* get higher on the blower which makes a higher pitched noise. My question is, How bad could this be and how much is this going to cost me? and is there anyway of checking on it myself to see if theres some sort of obstruction or whatever it may be. no belts are broken and the AC compressor is still working. It still blows cold air, so its got to be the blower. Thanks, just looking for some advice on the easiest route to take.

Hey thanks, I checked the cabin air filter and it wasnt a leaf. It was a piece of paper of mine. I have no idea how it got there but Im glad i got it out. It probably would have cost me 50 bucks just to have someone look at it. Thanks again

was it anychance a paper from your glove box? My car loves to suck papers out of the airbox into the vent system if I overfill it.. It'* very annoying! (I can only assume that the Bonnevilles might suffer from the same problem.)
