definately not normal.. these are my seats with 57,000 miles on them. They have slight wear marks, but definately no "cracks."

Rye your car is 2yrs old , my 1990 sse just developed a crack (hole) ,that is wer and tear 16 yrs old ,the dealer will always feed you sh$t and hope you go away.Make them fix it.

Yup, I am making them fix it. I just wanted to see what everyone else was experiencing. I must have got the Friday or Monday car. I hope this is the end of my problems for a while. You should be picky , you paid good money and they warrantied it.

wish you posted pics of the rips so we could have seen it up close. Oh well I am sure they will do right an who cares if they think you are too picky. Its your car not thiers. I could get rid of my car and get a more dependable car but I get way too many compliments on the GXP to get rid of it.

I will get a picture sometime this weekend for ya. As I have said before, I love the car. And I know there are problems and I can live with that. I think its more of the attitude of the dealership, they have made this frustrating. Might be time to switch to another.

55k on my 2000....no cracks...

Keep using the Leatherique and you should not have any cracks devlop.

My ole 2000 TL developed cracks they turned to rip and they replaced both seat cushons. All leather is not the same so you just got a defective piece.

I have an 03 w/31K. I have the grey leather and I am starting to get cracks in the leather. They look like liltle white lines. BS about it being normal. My 99 GTP has creases in the leather but no cracks.

I'm taking it in next week for a boatload of fixes before the warranty runs out.
