Clearing The Tails-Any Last Minute Advice???
Guys/Gals--
Cleared the headlights last weekend (post is in Detailng and Appearance) and will do the taillights this Saturday. I've read plenty of posts on it and know the procedure (on paper.) I've already got a Dremel and just need to go pick up a "deep" bit for some of the work from what I've read.
Any last minute tips, advice? Any caulk/adhesive that seems to work better than others? Still not sure what kind I'll end up buying to button everything back up.
Thanks.

take your time, have fun, and dont use anything but compressed air or water to clean them or you might end up with a clouded lense like me..
I used a cheap silicone sealer, and one of my lenses is still leaking, im not sure if i missed a spot, of if it didnt dry before i mounted them.... maybe somone else can give a suggestion on sealer

I used regular old black silicone sealant and put it on pretty good and let it dry overnight.
Take your time with the tails, watch your angle and where you're cutting. I thought I was dead on at one part and ended up being a little off and if you look closely you can tell. All in all though well worth the effort especially since you have the time to do it in. Our cars look so much better with cleared headlights and tails!
