you have new splines on the new hub and the ones on the axle shouldnt have reason to be messed up

Switched the tires, and the noise is the same. It is also getting somewhat louder. Its like teeth misaligned with some grinding. I plan on replacing the hub tomorrow or Sunday. I will repost with the results. Can anyone give me an idea what the CV shaft would sound like if it was going bad? These really are my only two conclusions that make sense?

Thanks. My old Ford had a few U joints go bad, but i could not recall the sounds. This is more of a whirling/grinding, which finally points at the hub/bearings. I will replace today and give an update. Appreciate the help.

Default Solved !!

So it was the hub/bearing. I used a Moog replacement, as I have only the one car; no time to wait for shipped parts.

The sound was worse turning right and also, there was a noticeable difference in the vibration in the spring (as was mentioned earlier as a possible symptom, thanks).

The sound itself was not like a grinding, and the bearing were not dry, but i think the housing was worn out, so the sound was more mechanical in nature. Hard to describe.

Thanks for all the help.
