Lot'* of good info here to be used for each area. Am I missing any that are larger issues?
I'd be really impressed if you put these in order of what to expect first, second, etc.

My car: bought december 16 2003.

1. Intermediate shaft 61000 mile
2. WSS (can happen anytime) 65000 mile
3. Steering positionning sensor 65000 mile
4. bearing (hard to say, can be fast or slow
5. Boost control solenoid 74000 miles
6. Pressure solenoid (tranny) 75000miles
7. Lower intake gasket 75000 miles

can vary, some will never have any issue, but thats about where you become at risk.

With all the symptom we can fix any problem before they come too expensive.

IN U.*. Dollars:

1. Bubbling Hood: +- $429 (estimation)

2. Intermediate Steering Shaft $194 + 2h of labor

3. Lower intake gaskets (is this SC and NA both?) 400$ to 700$ (depending if lifter are gummed)

4. Wheel Bearing (WSS) $370 + 1h labor (check "intense" for better price)

5. Steering Wheel Position Sensor: $84 + 2h labor.

6. Oil Pressure Sender : $27.38

7. Rear Window Regulators $120 per side?

8. Radio Lights : cheap if you perform the work yourself. We need a "How to"

9 Trunk Water Leaks : Depend how much time they search for the leak, 1-2 h labor

10. DIC ... we need to specify what problems we can have with the DIC

11. Boost control solenoid: + - $42 + 15 minutes labor.

12.Pressure control solenoid: $75 + gasket+ 5h labor $487

13.Road rash: (front tire throw sand on the bottom of the rear passenger door)
estimation: Unknow (fix just the spot or all the rocker of the body???)

Hold on a second.. a Boost Control Soleniod is not a common issue. 3/4 of the 00+'* like all the other years don't even have a BCS.

Is the trunk leak as bad as the door leaks? Let'* get door leak back on....it'* a known issue.

Thx!

I remember 4 case where the boost control solenoid was involved, i think it should stay in, but i agree that we need to keep only common problem, i think we are done with the 00+ problem.

But i think we need to get "how to fix it myself" tutorial. May be it could help saving $$
for those like me who really dont know how to change a lower intake manifold(for example)

i heard its easy but... when you dont know how

tell me what you guys think about some tutorial.

cheers

I recently had my steering wheel sensor, 2 motor mount replaced, and oil selonoid replaced on a 02 bonneville ssei. I have the GMPP warranty on my vehicle so it was 100.00 out of pocket, however the vehicle is now operating so much better and I could've or would've known what to tell the service tech without the bonnevilleclub forum thanx guys!
