You're lucky, Ice. I did mine and no difference at all. The old ones were turnable by hand, but must have still been tight enough to work like they should :?

Hmm, I tightened until the bushings began to bulge but i could go tighter. The old bushings were so hard that i know they didn't have any more give than these new ones do....I just tried fixing a problem i didn't have.

after I changed the ones in my old Bonneville it still clatterd going over speed bumps, I used Moog stab links, tightened them to spec.
