Default Why do I keep breaking motor mounts?

I knew the guy that owned the car before me, I put a new front tranny mount in in july last year for him, bought the car in august, started making it faster in october. Put a new mount in in febuary and just broke that one tonight. What gives?

That'* the mount I put in, Minus the bolt, I've never seen one just like that.

I'd love to attirute this to neck snapping torque, but there'* got to be a reason. Also the 94 had a hydraulic mount in that spot, Is that what is supposed to be there?

The motor is flopping all around with that mount broken lol... That one on the pass side frame rail is still good, guess I'll just have to get under there and look at the other one.

It'd be cool, But if you stiffen the drivetrain mounts then you'd need stiffer subframe mounts, then youd be getting alot of body flex. Not something I want.

heh, it just moved about 8 inches back and five or so up...

The other mount looks great, it'* a dogbone type mount, which the 94 didn't have either....

Is there a different mount for the L67?

Does anyone know if a captive mount is available?
