white smoke
when I start my car in the am or after work there is white smoke until it warms...it seems more than normal and it has been doing it for a while..at first i was thinking it was the winter weather but now I m not sure. it goes away after about 20 minutes.
or appears to go away..
any thoughts or suggestions?

Are you loosing any coolant? If not, hold a piece of cardboard (or something like it) behind the exhaust pipe and have someone rev the engine up and down for a minute or two. Watch for anything comming ou tht pipe. If it sticks to the cardboard it is probably moisture such as coolant. If it bounces off the cardboard it may be the element from inside your converter.
Just something to try....

I have a 97 bonneville the does the same. Moisture in the muffler is the main reason it does that and once it warms up it will be gone. Coolant can also cause this but it looks kind of grey or white. I changed my muffler and o2 sensor and its solved.
