This is the Quad Driver 4 code...
AC Relay Control
MIL " SES " light
Fan 1 control " Low Speed "
Fan 2 control " High Speed "
Thats what quad driver 4 controls...

What was the code?
What was the code?

what gordy mentioned...
once in a while while taking a corner hard with full acceleration, the tranny will slip, not even close to engage, and engine will hit the rev limiter until i let off...
i just called my dad and told him to look at this post...he wil be calling me in a bit when he has time...and he will verify the things that have and have NOT been done to it...
if i can get my car running like gordys, i will be a happy man...

The part where the car hits the limiter and the trans just won't engage is what bothers me the most...
Almost sounds as if the trans is on its last leg..
When you swapped out the PCM did you use the chip that was in it, or did you use yours or both? If you used both chips did they have the same results?

Bad Torque converter? :? Other then the entire tranny, which swapping out might not be a bad thing either. Nate'* gonna have two good units so maybe a talk with him is in order. I know the one currently in his 95 is a fresh one.

With the solenoids.....if the PCM is commanding a shift, but the solenoid doesn't do anything or is slow to respond, will the PCM still show that the solenoid has completed it'* function or it'* active?
Ok, I just got off the horn with my tranny shop. They'd like to drive it so they can experience the symptoms first hand. So if you wanna try and set that up, let me know. They have seen that code come up before, even though nothing with that code pertains to the transmission ( I used to have that code too then it randomly went away) as he stated. What that code means in a tranny'* sense is that it'* a fuel delivery problem. These engines need to be running in perfect order pretty much for the tranny to work right. He said that it'* most likely something to do with the injection system. If the engines not making the power it needs to under WOT then the tranny more or less doesn't know what to do, and the the engine more or less wants to run wierd and the tranny kinda just lags along behind it. This does make sense from what I know of your problem, because if you're not in it at all, just driving nice, the trans will shift fine, correct? Probably because there isn't a huge demand on the fuel system.
So back to my original question, what'* your KR? When was the last time your fuel filter replaced? Since you recently did your exhaust maybe you knocked something in your cat loose to create a clog? (Perfect excuse for a magnaflow high flo cat ) What'* your fuel pressure at? If you're having some hard starts, may want to look into a new FPR, What'* the injector pulse rate?
All these things can lead up to the trans problem that you're having. So I hope this helps.
