Default The Wheel Question is...

Ok, on the highway to take my Bonneville back to the dealer to replace the O2 sensor, I had a blowout and it ruined the rim. Can I use any GM 5 bolt 16in steel wheel as a temporary replacement until I can order a factory replacement rim?

no, it has to be the bolt pattern 5x115 otheriwise it will not fit. And if it will fit, and its not 5x115 then it is not at all safe.

You may want to post in the "Wanted" section or check ebay for the most cost effective replacement to your stock rim.

Also call up your local parts yards. They often have them hanging around.

The steel wheel would have to be the same bolt pattern, diameter and offset as the other 3 wheels or you run the risk of ruining your transaxles and suspension components.
