Whats the name of this part
Alrighty so my lovely (HA) 93 bonne has decided to become a sprinkler of brake fluid..I have no pressure t barley stops and it sprays a mist of brake fluid out from under the hood.Itsn ot off the booster or master its the other thing mounted to the body under the air filter box.
What is it called? abs hydraulic unit? Abs pump?
Looks like this..If it is the abs hydraulic unit their wanting 1200 for an ew one.Crazy.... time for .junkyard LOL
Also are these things prone to breaking ans spraying fluid or should i be looking at the lines connecting to it..I havent investegated closely yet

pump, module, Hydraulic assembly i think all refer to the same thing. i havent seen one break, not to say it wont happen but i doubt its common and i would be looking in the yard like you said. most times for me leaks are in the lines by the module rotted

JustinING DING DING LOL i just looked and one of the four lines rusted right after it bends under the pump and spit out a steady stream. The previous owner replaced one brake line from fron to back but not the other three so looks like i get to do the other three.I figured it to be a line but still wanted to know what that was called LOL

dont know if you've been there but for those who havent, on my 98 i got the metric flaring tool, a coil of line, and the proper fittings alot cheaper than using a bunch of metric to American adapters.
