what would cause valvetrain to be i diffrent condition
the drivers side valvetrain is in very good condition but the passenger side is all black and crusted. is it probably a clog somewhere, is the pump bad, is this normal for the l67? what would be the proper steps to find and fix the problem?

They should be clean front and rear, left to right. I've got pics of my 93 at 110k, and it looks like 10k.
Pour oil in the heads with the valve covers off. Watch the flow. Consider an engine flush product.

Then use a rifle cleaning rod and bronze brush to rod out the oil passages. You may have to pop out some passage plugs. Any auto parts store will have these.
