wet weather -> temporary no first gear and no Overdrive/T
Hello,
i have this problem, if the weather wet or raining that i loosing by driving the first gear and Overdrive/TCC (no kickdown possible).
If i stop the engine and restart the engine, the gear and overdrive is back and the car is running perfect.
This problem is only by wet weather and the engine stop/restart to fix the problem is by one trip more that one pices possible :(
What is the problem on my car???? Can me someone help me? :?:
I life in Germany and this car is in Europe very rare.

I would suspect moisture in the trans electrical connector. After a restart, the car is warm enough to dry out the pins.
Disconnect that connector and spray inside it and the trans jack with electrical contact cleaner. Apply dielectric grease to the pins and around where the connector should seal when hooked up.
I bet that solves your problem.
