Were is the EBCM & PMV for the Brake system in 92 SSEi ?
Since I first got this car the ABS & Traction control have not worked.
I had the codes read by a mechanic friend of mine with a good scan tool & the same codes keep getting stored.
The codes are:
25 = Front wheel speed sensor
31 = Rear wheel speed sensor
33 & 37 = Signal Erratic or Noisy
45 = Inlet/Outlet Valves
61 = Pump Motor
Anyone know the locations of the EBCM (Electronic Brake Control Module) or the PMV (Pressure Modulator Valve) ?
Anyone seen these codes before or know what the source of my brake problems could be from looking at these codes ?
Any suggestions ?
Thanks in Advance,
Dutch

PMV is under your airbox. Says 'TC' on it. Has 2 brake lines coming in, 4 going out. Large black round connector.
EBCM is located on the firewall directly behind the center console and to the right of the gas pedal.
Good luck. Hope the dealer accurately diagnosed it for you. Both parts are VERY expensive. EBCM'* RARELY fail. PMV'* do more often.

Anyone have any idea what could be causing these codes ?
Anyone had similar problems ? What was the fix or cause ?
I'm thinking its the EBCM becuase of the multiple codes and the trouble shooting procedures I've printed off from Mitchell On Demand (about 10-15 pages).
Also to clairify it was not a dealer who read the codes or trouble-shooted the problem for me, it was a mechanic who is a friend of mine, with a better scan tool than my own. He didn't make any guess' as to what is causing these problems.
Thanks again,
Dutch

Many of us have multiple problems. List from most likely to least likely:
1. PMV assembly
2. Wheel speed sensor (hub assembly) or associated wiring
3. Other wiring
4. EBCM
Or a combination of one or more of those 4 items. I currently have a bad PMV and two bad WSS on my 93.
