Amy, were both fenders crunched? I think (I may be wrong, but maybe not) that the fender is different to mate with the headlight, too. Funny. I have a book that would tell me that now. I just left it at work!

Bill, yes both fenders were crushed and replaced. I'll send you a pic later, you can check it out when you get back.

You look better than I did when I was hit...I couldn't even get a smirk out.

I don't think its totaled bud. New engine...most likely. New bumper cover and bumper brace (maybe both). 2 new headlights, looks like both fenders on each side as well. And of course...a new hood. Alignment and what not.

*sigh*
Sorry man, things will work out though. As least it wasn't your fault, so your rates won't bite you in the ***.

How fast was your father going? Considering the size of the vehicle that hit him, it doesn't look that bad. Imagine if his speed was higher....

It sure doesn't LOOK totaled, but then again I'm not an insurance adjustor.

When are they going to look at it?

Damage looks kinda like mine, but yours in more squished...little over 4500.00 damage. I don't think it'* totalled, but I am not a mechanic, either. Let us know how it goes with the adjuster.

Well you know I'm gonna say red....bright red....

I don't know if insurance would allow it, but something I've always wanted to do is have 2 black racing stripes professionally painted on my red Bonnie. Try to see if you can get a sporty look, if anything.
