Default Trunk Lid Torque Rods

I need some help! One of the torque rods for the trunk lid broke. I tried ordering new ones from GM but, they no longer carry them. They sent a message saying to get them from an after market retailer. Well, I have been doing this for the past month and a half and I am coming up empty. Can someone tell me where I can get these things?

How about a local junk yard. Its a great source for obsolete items.

Junkyard would be your best bet. If you were closer, or coming up this way, I'd let you have the set I have here for cheap since they are doing me no good (sold the trunk)

You know, I was in Binghamton a week or two before it broke, huh. I'll try the junk yard then, thanks for your help guys.

I agree on the junkyard.

Be careful though..there is a lot of tension on those rods.
