If it'* not on your driver'* door just below the handle/pocket area, you don't have it. Also look for the unlock actuator attached to the latch mechanism.

Hey, no offense, but you asked us where the "trunk opener" was, so I figured you were looking for the actual mechanism (especially since one of the previous posts was about how to fix that mechanism).

The button should be on the driver'* door, on the lower part of the armrest below the handgrip, more-or-less facing the side of the driver'* seat. There'* a photo of it on page 56 of the '93 Owner'* Manual. I can send you a PDF file of that page (or the entire manual) if you want; send me a PM with your email address.

the car has to be running on my 91 but on Jeff'* old 94, it was hot all the time!!!

Take a pic of the inside of your driver'* door. If the button ain't there, you ain't got it. Post the pic here, no worries. We don't bust on people for stuff like this.
