Transmission either slips or won't go in 1st gear
Ok so here'* the deal : Car'* a 1995 SSEI Bonnie and when it'* cold, it'* really hard to get moving. Revs go up but the car accelerates really slowly. After 2-3 shots it'll be ok as if nothing ever happened.
I havent' noticed if I had a shift to second gear when this happens and haven't tried to manually force it in first because I only have 2-3 shots before it stops doing it.
Anyone has a clue over what can cause there problems, I'm really really not good with auto trannies

Fluid level is at the top of the operation level, so that'* out of the question. Maybe the filter'* starting to get clogged and pressure is insufficient?

What color is the trans fluid on the dipstick? Was it low and you filled it, or was it okay when you checked?
Fluid/filter change is probably the best place to start. When was the last time it was done?

Fluid looks red/brown. I don't know when it was changed, I bought it last year and nothing'* recorded in the owner book. My guess is never. Car has 230000 kms.
Do you have an opinion on stuff like lucas transmission conditionners and things like that? Are they worth it or it'* a waste of my money and possibly somethings that wears trannies faster?

There are people that swear by Lucas treatments. Personally, I change all my car'* fluids on a regular basis and don't bother with additives.

everytime ive tried to do it i cant find a way to slowly direct the fluid so it ends up going all over, if you have some trays or something have them ready
