Well its been about 10days since I did the transmission service and the hesitations I was getting have seemed to go away. It all seems to be smooth now. Thanks for the help though.

K.. since yours issue seems to be gone.. I'm goin to steal thread instead of starting another if it'* ok with everyone
I have the hesitation issue in first gear but only during hard accelaration from a stop.. as if the gear is jumpin or not shifted in gear properly.. but during normal accelaration its ok.. or if I accelarate normally then go WOT it seems fine.. No clunkin or anything. just shuddering..
Seems like when stopped the car is in idle and when moving it shifts into gear but didn't have time to fully engage... fluid doesn't smell burnt.. had it changed a year ago.. but have some black ish color to it.. the out law says it might be my clutch pack failing thats why it'* leaving the black residue.. I"m hopeing its just as easy as the tire breakin in and out of traction during accelaration ( since I have traction control and ABS disabled ) but without the chirpin sound.

I didn't change it myself the last time.. but I will post a pic of it when I do it in mid spring..
Whats the friction pad? That thing that looks like a metal on the pan? Or is that something else?

Yeah thats the point I was making... What you see in my pan there is about 2 years of driving... And that is totally normal wear... My 91 always comes out with less wear material tho... Never understood that... But I have seen a lot worse.. ![Wink](https://www.gmforum.com/gm/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
