ok thanks....yah i look down at it throught the engine compartment and had my step brother spin the axle and from what i see throught the hole in the case theres still one pinion with that shaft holding it in still there...also i noticed that the shaft that holds the pinions in on one end its sticking out farther than it should...

If its anything like this. Drop the pan and inspect for shavings and open up the filter too.
