Joe,

After seeing those pics, don't bother trying to replace the Diff cover and the diff... Get another trans...

Try to find one with low miles if at all possible... Your gonna have a hard enough time finding the HD unit let alone one with low miles... Good Luck..

Joe'* a 94 SSE, he'* got an L27 most likely... He'll need a 4t-60 E with 3.06 gearing.

And ummm the trans didn't kill itself. I'll let joe mention that though.

Oh ****..... After seeing those pics I thought that was an L67.... Damn... Yeah I heard about the way it was damaged..

Joe the 3.06 4T60-E should be fairly easily found... I do reccomend a unit with low miles if possible..

You know how these trannies work... Go to shift it in gear and rev at the same time and the shift solenoid is a little slow to get there, than all of the sudden WHAM!!!!! It goes in gear... Thats some nasty force for a trans thats sitting still...
