Thanks for chiming in Technical Ted, I just came back from another test drive and it'* been confirmed that all gears including 1st & OD are working. YAAAAAAAAAAAA>
I still don't know why the dual fans aren't working, I rechecked the fuses in all 3 locations and they are all good.
1. under drivers side dash.
2. passenger side near fender
3. firewall, including relays.

YES!!!
Frank..we can get you a new fan in seconds Those relays come with the fan. Ready for my theory? The F'n fan resistor that you keep soldering is coming undone because it'* getting hot. Because it'* not resisting like it should and heating up. One is probably bad.
But..now you know..that you better have some spare fuses and we'll get that thing working..don't you worry.

Frank Buddy, i think you need to show up with your son and have a To Do List ready to go Boss.... That way we can git er done...
You have gone a step in the right direction...
and I agree with boosty... That wire keeps getting too hot... Solder melts at about 400F...
Boosty would he be able to rig up a fan switch or override to the good fan? One fan on high speed should keep the engine cool enough.. and would only be needed in traffic...
Any thoughts?

Ok.. Page 2 Wren put up pics..colors might be the same or mentioned by another person.
Frank..unplug that fan.. which is the faster of the two fans.... but unplug it..leave it unplugged and then hook up the high speed fan relay override.

That way you'll control the fan and can manually turn it off and on yourself. Once you are here.. I don't think there'* anything that we can't fix.. Even if I gotta pull my fan out.. I know where there'* more fans.

I'll pick up some spare fuses just in case, as for the solder melting, I have some argon left in one of the bottles I can alway Tig Weld it but at 2000 deg. that might me my last resort.
Not sure I'm on the same page re the Willwren wiring I'll read up on it tomorrow. And I don't want you to pull your fans out.

I've had a to do list and a wish list for months and it keeps adding up.
I think I'll be ok with the overheating problem since I have a 180 stat so at least I'm starting at a low temp. My only problem will be if there'* a line up at the boarder.
Technical Ted
The 6 pack is on me if I get my to do list done before I leave back home.
Thanks so much for sticking with me through my outrage. I appreciate it guys.
