Yah I know, I beet on my tranny once in a while. But its still very strong and has more to offer. I don't know if I should rebuild it with a shift kit or putt in a reman. -Toddster

I thought of this today when i was driving and realized that i left some details out.
when i come around any corner the tranny will go into 4rth gear over drive at like 25 to 30mph and dog the motor so i have to give it gas to just about make it downshift.
Also when the tranny does this the motor makes a fluttery niose coming from the intake side.
And I don't know if this is related but my traction control switch does not light up but my traction control does work when I push the button off or on. Once in the very cold of coldest days here in WI the light did come on when I started the car in the moring last winter. I don't know what to think of that.-Toddster

OK just an update. I did over fill the trans fluid by a half quart. No change in the way it shifts I think I just have a bad tranny that needs money thrown into it to make it better.-Toddster

I noticed similar problems with my tranny when I went around a bend, particulary at a yield sign. I would temporarily slow down and then accelerate through the yeild (bend in the road). It'* been over a year, but I sort of remember the tranny either slipped or would not shift from the lower gears to higher. Unfortunately, I had to have the tranny rebuilt within a short time after noticing this problem two to three months. The 92 Bonne SE had in and around 145- 150K miles on it at the time.

welp... I found this site and I found the problem I'm currently having with my bonneville... about 105k on it, and as the OP said, when I'm accelerating around a corner or pulling off from a yield the car really dogs it... It'* intermittent, happens both when the car is cool and warm, happens when regardless of full/empty tank...
It'* a bit frustrating, and I'd love to know why and how to fix this... but I can live with it if need be... any other suggestions?
