Yes, wet pavement will activate the traction control. I'd probably be really careful though.

ya, i know what you mean, i really hate to mess up a tranny trying to see if the traction control works. that would be pretty costly. A scantool wouldn't be able to tell you that would it?

Scantools as we know them will not read traction or ABS codes.

If the system fails, the lights will come on. If the lights don't come on, it'* usually a bulb.
