TPS voltage...
Ok, I am adjusting my TPS, and the FSM says voltage at idle (throttle closed) should be exactly between .38 and .42. I cannot get it to .40 exact, so which is better, .39 or .41? I know it'* stupid to ask, but not sure if it will make a big difference. BTW the TPS seemed to be replaced in the past, and they didn't adjust it, It was at .50v

Well, some people tweak theirs in one direction or another as a mod of sorts... It seems that if you go higher in voltage, the system understands that you're giving it more throttle, and gives it more fuel, or more fuel sooner, and it improves throttle response at the slight expense of fuel economy. Lower voltage would do the opposite, in theory.
At least I think I've got that right.
