Alright i had a chance to do the leak test and found nothing...with the rocker arms, is is possible that they can be over tightened or not tight enough, even with torque..specs are 11 ftlbs and additional 90°. Should i be able spin the pushrods @ all after rocker arms are torqued down?

well im about to tear down again, gonna suck havin to purchase more oil and anitfreeze...is there anything you recommend i check? and if the cam is the prob, which im trying to lean away from since i only had a small ticking sound, which is gone now that all lifters are replaced, can that job be done with motor in car?
then my other question is when installing the lifters, theres a smole hole on the side, is it a certain side of the bore it should be on?, as to left or right being that the lifter is lock in place by keeper.

i dont have alot of experiance with the 3800 lower you have to see if one of the others will chime in. but i think if it came to the cam, needing cam bearings replaced and such you would be time and money ahead to get a used lower end from the jy

Im going to check that link, hey Dan thanks for joining, but the ticking is no longer there after replacing lifters. Its just the stumbling on acceleration, which led me to the torqing of the rockers. Was up all nite doin the job over about to change oil and finish up to try again. If its still doin the same thing ill try and see if i can post a good video for you guys.
