Default tail and dash lights don't work

i have a 95 bonneville. when i pull the **** the headlights come on, but thats it, no tail lights no dashlights. the crazy thing is the brake lights work, when i press the brakes the dash lights come on and goes back off when i release the brakes. help anyone

Sounds like a bad ground to me. When pressing the brake it opens a different ground. Check your ground buses for corrosion. Try this link. https://www.gmforum.com/showthread.php?t=278980

they would charge you by the hour to hunt it down and fix it can be very expensive

The 95 Bonneville was known for melting there headlight switches and causing all kinds of weird things.

Toni I actually have an extra switch that I'm willing to put in your car for free. If your going to be up in my area let me know so we can get your Bonne fixed.
