Swapping seats?
Does anyone know anything about swapping seats in our H-bodies, and what exactly it invovles?
I am asking because I recently found some clean leather seats in a wrecked LeSabre in the junkyard, and I want to swap them into my LeSabre, how complicated would this be? I don't know how you would get them unbolted, and then get them on the rails in my car?
One place where I could run into trouble is the passenger seat in my LeSabre isn't a power seat, but the leather seat from the donor car is power. Could I splice the wires and hook in a power seat so I'd have dual power seats?
Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

I would think that they would bolt right in, and seats aren't that hard to remove.. What are the years of the cars?
BTW, in your signature, the LaSabre is more like a "corporate sister" than a cousin...

My car is a 1992, this one is a 1994, they are the same body style with the same interior.
I've read other places it should be fairly easy, but I am just wondering if the car is maybe pre-wired for a power passenger seat since it was an option?

You're going to have a seat control module. I'm not sure if the LeSabre used 2 or not. It'll be a simple set of relays. It'* possible you could get one from the wrecker, but then again, did that car have a SINGLE module for both seats? That'* the part you want if that'* the case.
It would be a nightmare to try to route power to each of the individual motors directly from the switch, but it'* possible.
