Last year I decided to change all of my mounts save for the transmission mount, because I was burning through engine torque mounts every month. I must have replaced that thing 5 times last year.
So I replaced the front, which was completely broken. It wasn't just the hydraulic part that had separated, but the metal had torn as well. In the meantime, I also replaced the rear mount. The rear mount had two bolts to the subframe and one bolt to the block, but two bolt holes. I figured it would be fine to put only one back.
So I put only one back, and shortly after, I would hear a clunking noise when going from reverse to drive or back, and I never knew what it was, until recently.
Recently I blew another front engine mount, and I discovered the reason was because the rear engine mount had started to become loose, so the engine was actually angled forward a bit, putting lateral stress on the torque mount. I quickly found a bolt that fit the second hole, pushed the engine back, and replaced the front mount. The engine torque mount is starting to tear, but is not torn yet, so that'* still in good shape. When I took the side cover off to replace the parking pawl rod in January, the transmission mount seemed fine. A few days ago, I checked the front mount and that seemed fine.
Now the only possible explanation would be a broken rear engine mount because of the way it had flexed due to the missing bolt.. However, would this cause as much vibration as I'm getting now?

Engine torque mount and rear engine mount are both cracked.
That brings me to 5 engine torque mounts, 3 front mounts, and 2 rear mounts for the last 12 months.
I really need to find a way to bolt in a second engine torque mount since mine only came with one.
I'm going to guess that since this caused all of the vibration, that it also caused a lot of false knock.
I discovered this when I put the car in reverse and sat there for a second. I noticed in reverse that the vibration completely went away.
That brings me to 5 engine torque mounts, 3 front mounts, and 2 rear mounts for the last 12 months.
