steering/suspension...i think i broke something
alright, go ahead and call me stupid. i was turning left at a light today, and accelerated aggressively while sweeping wide enough to miss the raised concrete median separating the lanes of the road. all the sudden the car jolted like i hit a pothole, like the front end of the car bounced or something. i think it must have been a hole, or something in the road, but it couldn't have been the median. anyway, immediately afterwards i noticed the steering clunked when i was slowing down to turn right off the highway. ya know, moderate speed, 90 degree turn, etc. it then clunked again when turning right off another highway onto my road. it'* totally my fault; my idiot driving may have broken something. i'm taking an untrained look at the strut bearings and strut mounts this afternoon, but any other ideas what this could be? the car seems to drive fine on the highway, but when turning tight at speed i get the clunk.
