SSEi 99 -- Performance Ride/ Touring Ride
I came back from Costa Rica from vacation (Surfing) and the two ligths under the Traction Co. light by the Gear Shift... Both ligths are on, I checked the air compressor and it works fine. I wonder what would it be.
Thanks
Thanks

That means that one of your CCR struts has malfunctioned.

Those lights have nothing to do with ELC (Electronic Load Leveling, or the Compressor). They have to do with CCR struts. Computer Command Ride. Use the procedure in Techinfo to extract the codes, and when it comes back "Bad Strut", replace with something OTHER than CCR, and kiss the system goodbye. GM no longer produces CCR struts, and the system is troublesome at best.

But with mine, the air pump is not going on and the level controller isn't working either.

My lights have been on both my cars since the day I bought each...I ignored it. Well the first one had the struts replaced, unsure about this one.

I'm just finding this topic now too.....
So GM doesn't make the electronic struts anymore.... are there any aftermarket ones someone could buy that would do the trick? I like having the option of Touring/Performance Ride....
(FYI.... mine are working fine right now... but I can see them being replaced down the road)

They're still available, at an EXTRAORDINARY price. Nobody here can realisticly afford them, especially considering how failure prone they are. There are no aftermarket options. The OEM replacment, or disable it. There are better struts out there, anyway.
