spark plug wires
Does anyone here know what the resistance is supposed to be between one end of the plug wires and the other. I think my tayloy wires are bad and if they are that would solve ALOT of problems and aggrevation. Please let me know, thanks.

yeah i know it sounds like your coils but my dad wont let me get new coils til i check the wires. so i will do that tomorrow. he wont let me get msd either. he thinks all my problems come from modding the car. i really hope its just the wires. i dont want to buy new coils. i did check the coil resistance and they are right. i know when they heat up it might be a different story but o well. hopefully its the wires. thanks will

I concur completely with the call on MSD'*. They are absolutely the best, even over stock. Look at NHRA, NASCAR, etc. All MSD ignition components. Tried, tested, and cheaper.
Yes, heat can affect a coil that reads fine cold....the only REAL way to test them is with a crank-style megohmeter. Most people don't know what that even is any more.
And yes, the #1 will read the lowest. Longer wires should read slightly higher. I seriously doubt you have a bad wire, but the only way to find out what the real problem is........pull your plugs and inspect them. Keep them in order. Reading your plugs can tell you alot. If one or two are fouled.......well, just do it, we'll help you figure it out from there.
Actually plugs are cheap. Just buy new plugs like I did, and read the old ones.

lol MSD told me that the Taylor wire is really just as good and will not effect the operation or quality of a set up.
So call Msd and tell them you have Taylor wires and you like them and want to use the MSD system and want to know if they will reduce the quality or amount of the performance. Ask them what they think of the Taylor wire. You will get a no comment or they are just as good don’t worry about it.
Taylor will back the wires so if you do find a problem they will replace them for ya.
Call 1 800 821 3600. Ask them and they will help you. Ask for Mike in tech.
They said 350oms per foot on the Spiro pro series.
Measure wire and test.
Also if you are going to Sema the Taylor booth is 22.222. They have lots of new stuff coming out
