could the noise be a altinator? cuz last night i was driving home from school and i noticed that couldnt see me dash lights so i cheaked to see if they were turned down and they werent. and my head lights were really dim too. do i turned off my rear defroster and they made them a little bit brighter. and my car has never had to fight for power. how do i test if my altinator is dieing? dang my dad was right he said it would go out soon. next time im gonna listin.

Core charge is added to the price if you do not exchange your old part for the new part. Basically the core is your old part. If you take your old part in AFTER you buy the new part your core charge will be refunded to you, or if you take your old part in when you buy the new part and exchange it at the time of sale, you will not be charged a core charge. Basically your charged a fee if you do not give them your old one.

If I were you I would get one from Autozone or some other auto parts place, you will pay less for it. I have always bought alternators from Autozone and they all have lasted a long time. The one in my daytona ( my friend owns it now) is still going strong after 4 years, and it was the cheapest one I could buy at the time.
