Sounds like your rear struts are shot. Push down hard on the rear of your car and let off, how many times does it keep bouncing?

Your width is a full 20mm off. Either get the tires that are fully compatible, or take your car back to the bodyshop to have the fender lips rolled.

o.k so explain how atleast 100 or more other members from this site have 20'' rims and the same tire size as me and dont have any issue'*..?

please understand its not an issue with the new rims....


and as for haro'* comment i pushed on the car and it bounced maybe twice and very little..

is that the shocks or struts.?

I read through some parts a couple times, but I can't find the offset. It'* supposed to be 40, but that counts for the calipers and such clearing nicely. As for width, I think you should go for a larger number offset. That doesn't explain your car sagging, though.

Check the way the spring coils. I recently found that the Aerostar the last person to wake up drives has an uncoiled spring in the rear.

My 95 is not here right now, but if someone could measure their cars heigth from the ground to the wheel opening and then compare to yours and see if there is a difference. In the meantime measure each side of your own and compare them. Make sure the trunk is empty when you do this.

o.k its getting so bad that my tire is starting to shred off 3-4'' long peices of rubber i just noticed it today so i will be parking the 95 untill i can get some new shocks and springs put on.. or maybe even some spring spacers..

this really sucks..... cause the 88 is not 100% either..

Your rubbing on the inner fender, thats probably whats cutting off the tread, somebody a few posts up mentioned that, Id take those rims off and put the stockers back on for now, until you actually figure out what the issue is with your car, your gonna wreck the new wheels and possibly something major with the car,

Figure out the issue and minimize the final cost

now i went to firestone to see what they say and i was told

( someone is cutting your tires at night im sure of it, there aint nothing wrong with your car sir..)

huh.? you gotta be kidding me... my car sits in the garage when ever not in use.. it does not see the outside unless its driving...


now i have to buy a new tire. so can anyone please look at the pics and see that the inside fender well lip is goind about 3-4 inches down and cutting up my tire..

please help.. i dont know what to replace and neither does the shop....

did you get that alignment yet?
