Series I to Series II Swap?
#11
JR, you'll NEVER find out. Josh'* is a '93, just like mine (including color...minus the ghetto gold rims, his are the same, only raw aluminum)! Other than the intake and tranny, it should be identical. We'll be pulling his valve covers off soon.....anything in particular that will stand out? I've never had mine off. What'* the recognizable difference between the old rockers and the rollers?

Well I've not recieved that E-Mail yet! But I can say that the Engine & Trans will have to swappped. Depending on what year of Series II engine you want to go with depends on what mods have to be done too. If you're thinking of a later 3800 NA engine then engine & trans (4T65-E) would be a good choice. f thinking of a 3800 SC, then engine & trans (4T65-E HD) would have to be done instead. All enginw swaps will require a different engine wiring harness & trans harness to match what ever installed. A new ECM will also have to be installed to match the year of the new engine/trans swap too. Of coarse the minor details like sensors & what not will also have to be changed as needed. If you want more detailed info drop me a line at: deathrat64@yahoo.ca

SC Series II weren't released until the 1996 Model. All 92-95 SSEi'*, SSE, and SE with the factory SC are Series I.
