When I rebuild M62'*, I use black RTV sealant instead of the old rubber gasket.

I made a gasket out of 6 layers of thin cardboard with RTV between each layer and around the edges.

Thanks for the help guys. Sealing the vacume box seemed to cure the problem.

Since I didn't end up re-pulling the SC, I think I'll give it some time before doing the lower intake gaskets.
