TB seal >>>> Possible coolant leak there.
Plastic Elbow >>>> Goes from Lwr Int to Water pump on Series I & To Tensioner on Series II'* & both engines are known for leaking coolant there.
Lwr Int >>> probably the real leak
Valve Cvrs >>>> leak oil only & are common leaks.

OK, got the parts. Will hopefully get to it sometime this weekend. I suspect internet wagering is illegal but it will be interesting to see who is right about what is leaking. I will take pictures. I think the coolant is coming from the upper intake seal on the front side of the engine (not the throttle body side) and the oil burning is caused by bad valve seals.
And yes, some of us like our beer a little cloudy.

i did an intake gasket on a 2000 blazer with a 4.3 in it today. it has the same gaskets, (plastic with rubber inserts) , it was leaking at the top of the gasket. the front DS water port from the head to the intake was cracked. the plastic was falling apart.
i still have it sitting on my roll cart at work, ill bring it home tomorrow and take some pics and post them ok. it was a hard leak to spot, hidden behind the water pump and the a/c compressor. it would evap before it ever dripped. complaint was interm. no heat.

pulled manifolds this evening
I pulled the manifolds this evening. I cleaned the engine before I started and noticed some fresh coolant leaking from the lower intake where it meet the front cylinder head. Pretty clear the upper was not leaking. The lower gaskets were what was going bad.
I posted some pictures in myyahoo gallery. It looks like they were leaking oil also. Hopefully this will clear up my oil burning problem.

Exactly what I expected. I just got a pic from Jseabert from his teardown, but I guess you don't need convincing now 
Were your new seals blue or black?
Notice your #1 runner? That'* an indication of a water leak. You replaced the upper seal anyway, right?

Is the leak on the #1 runner evidenced by the fact that it is cleaner than all the others? The new gaskets are black with red seals.
The old ones were soaked with coolant and oil. Quite messy. I hope to put it all back together on Monday. Hopefully it will cure my smoking and mild drivabilty problems.
