Default Resetting wiper motor on a 93 SSE

Well during our deep freeze a couple weeks ago,my wipers were frozen in ice and could only move a inch or two so I just never used them till it thawed enough to chip it out / melt.

So now I start the car up today and turn the wipers on ( delay mode ) and nothing....turn the switch to low / always on...nothing...turn on high and they kick in but still only move a inch or two, there is no ice or anything blocking the arms....

Is there a way to reset the motor or is it fubar and time for a replacement ?

Thanks appreciate the help / info .

Did you check the fuses?

No as they work, are getting power, the issue is the distance they will travel.

You will need to check the linkages and the motor. You may have bent something.

Well still looking for some help, tried to tackle it myself but cannot get under the hood far enough,I got one big cover off the pass side but it is a cover for fuses and gave no access to the wiper gear arms...
I can come to you...as long as it is not snowing or raining .....

Thanks..

Sure did and parking is not my issue which is they only move 2 inches total in a cycle ,most problems here are they are not parking in the correct position.

I suspect it is a bent wiper motor arm as this happened after they were froze in ice and did not know this when I turned them on...

I would suspect one of the drive arms can off or broke, or bent. The only thing you can do is get to the drive arms and check them out.
